Spring is in the air! It is a time for rebirth and renewed strength.
Recently I have been asked to join in and support the wonderful women around us that are unfortunately having to test their strength and will as they face the unfortunately well known battle with breast cancer.
It is my honor to donate 560 of my greeting cards for their gift bags at the 6th Annual Nite of Hope Gala in South Surrey/White Rock, British Columbia.
I will be painting a new image in celebration of women everywhere this weekend. Our local printers, Buchanan Printing, has lovingly offered to print all 560 greeting cards and offered me the use of their space to score them (fold the cards).
I am hoping that PaperZone in Bellingham will help supply the uplifting bright warm pink envelopes (size A2) to help out. Unfortunately we do not have a local company that can have the product in stock prior to April 7th, the Gala night.
I will also be donating one of my top selling matted prints for their auction in hopes of bringing some more money their way.
I am so excited to help out with this wonderful event!
My artwork is all about getting in touch with womans feelings and enjoying different parts of their being. I cannot wait to begin painting, as I feel the courage, love, strength and support coursing through my creative veins!
Have a great day!
Keep smiling and creating!
Great cause Nicci. And what a wonderful contribution.
PS – I love PaperZone. I shop there often.
Jeni…. we so need to plan a day trip of craft supply shopping down that way one day! Once you can do a Mommy’s Day Out, of course.
